In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns, grenades, home-made mines and IEDs against non-CDM staff after forcibly pressuring civil service personnel who are loyal to the State to join CDM as well as others who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 7 May at 01:30 AM, according to the report that a man was dead and two others were injured by gunfire in Monekan Village of Yenangyoung Township, Magway Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that Village Administrator U Khin Maung Shwe, 49 years old, (Father) U Thein Maung, his elder brother U Khin Maung Myint, 51 years old and his younger brother U Win Naing Tun, 47 years old, who all live in this Village, were in their respective houses, when seven male terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on motorcycles and opened fire on them before fleeing. As a result, U Khin Maung Shwe was dead from gunshot injuries, while U Khin Maung Myint and U Win Naing Tun sustained gunfire injuries and were transported to the Yenangyoung Township Public hospital for medical treatment. Furthermore, 10 shells of 7.62x39 bullet and a round of 7.62x39 bullet were found and seized near the scene, it is reported.
Similarly, at 06:30 AM, according to the report that a man was dead by gunfire in Aouttaungkine Village of Madaya Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Kyaw Tint, 68 years old, (Father) U Ko Gyi, who lived in this village, was in his house, when eight male terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on four motorcycles and opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Kyaw Thint was dead from gunshot injuries at the scene, it is reported.
Likewise, at 09:30 AM, according to the report that a woman was dead and another woman was injured by gunfire in Kontalaboung Village of Mingalardon Township, Yangon Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that Ma Kyu Kyu Naing, 38 years old, (Father) U Kyu Than, along with his daughter Ma Chit Tha Mee, 10 years old, (Father) U Zaw Min Thu, who both live in this village, were selling goods in their home-based shop, when three male terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived in a Saloon vehicle and opened fire on them before fleeing. As a result, Ma Kyu Kyu Naing and Ma Chit Tha Mee sustained from gunshot injuries, however, Ma Chit Tha Mee was dead from her gunshot injuries while being transported to a military hospital for medical treatment. Additionally, a shell of 9 MM Thai Arms bullet and a shell of 9 MM Luger bullet were found and seized near the scene, it is reported.
Furthermore, at 12:20 PM, according to the report that a woman was dead by gunfire in Nandawon Ward of Sagaing Township, Sagaing Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that Ma Khin Myo Nyein (aka) Poe Poe, 27 years old, (Father) U Khin Tun, who lived in this Ward, was selling goods in her home-based shop, when two so-called PDF Terrorists arrived on two motorcycles and opened fire on her before fleeing. As a result, Ma Khin Myo Nyein (aka) Poe Poe was dead from gunshot injuries at the scene, it is reported.
On the same day at 04:30 PM, according to the report that a man was dead by gunfire near Kyaukse village of Sagaing Township, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Tun Aung Kyaw, 62 years old, who lived in this Village, was cleaning in his house yard, when approximately five so-called PDF terrorists arrived on three motorcycles and arrested him. Later, when they reached the exit of the village, the terrorists opened fire and stabbed U Tun Aung Kyaw with knife. As a result, U Tun Aung Kyaw was dead from gunshot and knife injuries at the scene, it is reported.
Likewise, at 05:35 PM, according to the report that a man and two women were injured by gunfire in No. (6) Ward of Myingyan Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that 100-household Administrator U Aung Moe Thu, 38 years old, (Father) Pho Chun, who lives in this Ward, was in his house with his elder sister-in-law Daw Ei Ei Than, 38 years old (Father) U Win Shwe, his niece Ma Khin Moe Oo, 16 years old (Father) U Shwe Moe, when nine male terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on four motorcycles and opened fire on them before fleeing. As a result, U Aung Moe Thu, Daw Ei Ei Than and Ma Khin Moe Oo sustained gunshot injuries and were transported to the Myingyan District Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Likewise, on 8 May at 07:45 AM, according to the report that a man was injured by gunfire in Hlinepauk Village of Patheingyi Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that 100-household Administrator U Kalar, 43 years old, (Father) U Hla Myaing, who lives in this Village, was in his house, when two male terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Kalar sustained gunshot injuries and was transported to a military hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security Force Members are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
