In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns, grenades, home-made mines and IEDs against the public who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 13 July at 12:05 PM, according to the report that three males were dead by gunfire in Latpya Village of Pakokku Township, Magway Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Lu Maw, 77 years old (Father) U Chat Phaung, who lived in this Village, was present in his house with his family, when eight so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on four motorcycles and arrested U Lu Maw and his sons; U Kyaw Soe Maw, 34 years old and U Kyaw Myo Maw, 30 years old. Later, the terrorists took them in front of their house and opened fire on them. As a result, three people including U Lu Maw were dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, at 12:30 PM, U Tun Naing, 51 years old (Father) U Tun Yi, who lived in Chipa (North) Village of Shwebo Township, Sagaing Region, was leaving home on foot towards a forest located approximately one mile south of the Village. When he arrived near the “Pyae Pyae Aung” petro station, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number-under scrutiny) opened fire on him. As a result, U Tun Naing was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Likewise, at 03:10 PM, U Sein Lin, 60 years old (Father) U Thein Phay, who lived in No. (6) Ward of Shwebo Township, Sagaing Region, was leaving home alone on his motorcycle to visit Aungmyay Pagoda located in No (7) Ward. When he arrived near the Pagoda, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number-under scrutiny) opened fire on him. As a result, U Sein Lin was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Furthermore, at 04:40 PM, according to the report that a male was injured by gunfire at the “U Phu Nyo” tea shop located on 29th Road between 90th and 91st Streets in Thirihaymar (West) Ward of Chanayetharzan Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that 100-hosuehold Administrator U Aye Ko, 73 years old (Father) U Kyaw Myint, who lives in this Ward, was present in the teashop, when two so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny), who were walking along Thazin lane in 90th Street, entered the teashop and opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, Aye Ko sustained gunshot injuries and was transported to the Mandalay Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security Force Members are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against the civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
