In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns, grenades, home-made mines and IEDs against the public who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 24 July at 09:15 AM, a white Hiace 4J/ XXXX passenger vehicle, driven by U Zaw Min Htike, 39 years old (Father) U Bo Chit, who lives in Magyisin Village of Pakokku Township, was carrying seven passengers and traveling from Pakokku Town along the Pakokku-Kanma-Pauk Road. When they arrived near Kantaw Village, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number-under scrutiny) opened fire on them on the right side of the Road. As a result, among the seven passengers in the vehicle, Daw Nyunt May, 65 years old (Father) U Kyu, who lived in Magyisin Village, sustained gunshot injuries. However, she was dead from her injuries while being transported to hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 01:00 PM, according to the report that a male was found dead on the roadside at the entrance road of Hlalkuma Village in Natogyi Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. Upon inspection, an approximately 45-year-old man (under scrutiny) was found dead with gunshot injuries, and his body was transported to the Natogyi Township Public hospital for further examination, it is reported.
Similarly, at 10:05 PM, according to the report that a male and two females were dead by gunfire in Sandakuu (1-Kha) Ward of Tamu Township, Sagaing Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. Upon inspection, it is found that Daw Aye, 48 years old, who lived in this Ward, along with her son Mg Pyae Shan, 16 years old (Father) U Tauk Tun and her daughter Ma Nyein Nyein, 21 years old (Father) U Tauk Tun, were present in her house, when approximately seven so-called PDF terrorists arrived and opened fire on them. As a result, they were dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Security Force Members are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against the civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
