In some Townships, so-called PDF terrorist group killed a monk and two innocent civilians

In some townships across States and Regions, armed terrorists driven by a radicalized ideology that considers 'Anyone with differing views is an enemy' are carrying out violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets include monks and innocent civilians who do not endorse their terrorist activities. Using firearms and knives, they accuse these individuals of being 'spies,' 'informants,' or 'decoys' to instill fear among peace-seeking civilians, causing a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 4 February at 9:00 AM, a report stated that a male had died from gunfire in Taungletgyi Village of Paukkhung Township, Bago Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that U Mya (71 years old), who lived in this village, was in his house when a so-called PDF terrorist group (the exact number is under investigation) entered his house and opened fire on him. As a result, U Mya was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, 5 February at 7:00 AM, a report stated that a monk and a man had been killed by gunfire in Tharakan (South) Village of Mahlaing Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that a group of 10 so-called PDF terrorist group (under investigation), arrived by five motorcycles at the village. They later opened fire on the house of U Sein Myint Aung, an elder responsible for 100-households, and the Mahadekkhinarama monastery within the village, before fleeing. As a result, Abbot U Withura (33 years old, with 14 years of monastic term) and U San Maung (43 years old), a lay attendant of the monastery, who were at the monastery at that time, died from gunshot wounds, it is reported.
Security personnel are persistently undertaking essential measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for killings and assassinations of a monk and two innocent civilians in the abovementioned cases. These acts stem from a radicalized ideology that deems anyone holding differing views as an enemy, it is reported.
