According to the investigation, it was found U Phoe Thein (61 years old), who lived in Sonekone Village of Taungtwingyi Township, was returning alone on his motorcycle from Taungtwingyi Township to Sonekone Village along the Taungtwingyi-Magway Road. When he arrived at mile post 285 located near Talotepin Village, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number-under scrutiny) opened fire on him. As a result, U Phoe Thein was dead from a bullet penetrating injury through his left cheek to right cheek and a bullet penetrating injury through his left back to right chest, it is reported.
