In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns against administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 28 August at 08:00 PM, U Soe Moe Thein, 54 years old, who lived in Ohntaw Village of Sagaing Township, Sagaing Region, was having dinner at his “Htaketan” petrol station, when a group of nine so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on three motorcycles and opened fire on him by accusing him of being a “Decoy (Dalan)”. As a result, U Soe Moe Thein was dead from gunshot injuries. Furthermore, on the same day at 08:30 PM, the terrorists proceeded to the house of U Cho Tu Maung, 47 years old, who also lived in this Village, and they opened fire on U Cho Tu Maung. As a result, U Cho Tu Maung was also dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, on 29 August at 11:30 AM, according to the report that a male was dead by gunfire near Ywarlay Village of Taungtha Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that 10-household elder U Tin Thein, 67 years old, along with his daughter Ma San Yu Wai, 46 years old, who both lived in Natsaut Village of Taungtha Township, were travelling on a motorcycle from Natsaut Village to Ywarlay Village. When they arrived near Ywarlay Village, two male terrorists (under scrutiny), who were riding a motorcycle on the same direction behind them, opened fire on them before fleeing. As a result, U Tin Thein was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, at 04:30 PM, according to the report that a female was dead by gunfire in Motehtaw Village of Natogyi Township, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it was found that Daw Htike Htike Nyein, 44 years old, who lived in Min Village of Natogyi Township, was present at the monastery of the Shwemotehtaw pagoda located near Motehtaw Village, when a group of six so-called PDF terrorists arrived on three motorcycles and arrested her. Later, when they arrived the central road of Motehtaw Village, the terrorists opened fire on Daw Htike Htike Nyein. As a result, Daw Htike Htike Nyein was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, at 05:45 PM, according to the report that a male was dead by gunfire in front of the “Moegyi” betel nut shop in Poetan Ward of Sagaing Township, Sagaing Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it was found that U Aung Thway Oo (aka) Boetawlay, 53 years old, who lived in Moezar Ward of Sagaing Twonship, was purchasing betel nut at the betel nut shop, when two so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived and opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Aung Thway Oo (aka) Boetawlay was dead from a gunshot injury, it is reported.
Security personnel are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against administrative officials and innocent civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
