In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns against administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 8 September at 01:45 PM, the in charge of village U Win Win (60 years old), along with his younger sister-in-law Daw Khin Thu Zar Win (31 years old), who both lived in Shwechaung Village of Madaya Township, Mandalay Region, were riding on a motorcycle, as well as U Win Win’s wife Daw Htay Thida, who also lives in the same Village, was also riding on a motorcycle. They were returning from Madaya Town to Shwechaung Village along the Mandalay-Mogok Road. When they reached near the Mandalay-Mogok Road’s mile post 14/3 located near Wathondaya Village, two so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny), who were riding a motorcycle behind them, opened fire on them before fleeing. As a result, U Win Win and Daw Khin Thu Zar Win were dead from gunshot injuries to their hands and chests at the incident, it is reported.
Similarly, at 04:05 PM, Latpanhla Village administrator in Sinku Township, U Tun Shwe (70 years old), was working in the Village Administrator Office along with a 100-household elder U Myint Maw (51 years old) and an auxiliary fire services member U Myint Swe (55 years old), when four so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on two motorcycles and entered the office. Subsequently, the terrorists opened fire on them before fleeing. As a result, 100-hosuehold elder U Myint Maw was dead from three bullet penetrating injuries through his back to abdomen at the incident, while Village Administrator U Tun Shwe and auxiliary fire service member U Myint Swe sustained gunshot injuries to their faces and chests. They are currently receiving medical treatment at the Sinku Township Public Hospital, it is reported.
Similarly, at 04:30 PM, U Myint Khine (45 years old), who lived in Natgyi Village of Ngazun Township, was present with his family in his “Pwintkabar” home-based tea shop, when five so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on foot and recklessly stabbed and slashed U Myint Khine and his family with knives. As a result, U Myint Khine, his wife Daw Myint Myint Htay (44 years old) and his daughter Ma Myat Su Mon (14 years old) were dead from stabbing and slashing injuries on their faces, necks and chests at the incident, while U Myint Khine’s another daughter Ma Ei Ei Nyein (17 years old) sustained four stabbing injuries to her neck and abdomen. Security personnel transported her to the Ngamyar Circuit Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 06:00 PM, Daw Myint Than (aka) Kalamagyi (63 years old), who lived in No. (1) Ward of Wetlet Township, Sagaing Region, was seated on a chair in front of her house along with her niece Ma Pyae Pyae Phyo, when four so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on two motorcycles and forcibly directing them to lower their heads and sit at gunponit. Later, the terrorists opened fire on Daw Myint Than (aka) Kalamagyi before fleeing towards Myintaw Village along the Wetlet-Shammakar Road. As a result, Daw Myint Than (aka) Kalamagyi sustained two penetrating injuries to her head and back and was transported to the Wetlet Township Public Hospital for medical treatment. Unfortunately, she was dead from her injuries while receiving medical treatment, it is reported.
Security personnel are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against administrative officials and innocent civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
