In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations against administrative officials who are loyal to the State and innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 29 October at 10:50 AM, a report stated that a male was killed by gunfire in Oakpho Township of Bago Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that Village Administrator U Myint Kyaw (58 years old), who lives in Thayet Hnitphyarlain Village of Oakpho Township, was leaving home on his motorcycle together his wife Daw Khin San Win (57 years old) to visit a monastery in Kyaukpone Village. Upon reaching a Village-connected Road of Chaunggwa (Kay) Village and Kywaltaekone Village, a group of five so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) who were waiting for them, opened fire on U Myint Kyaw and robbed his Honda Dream 125 motorcycle and a mobile phone before fleeing the scene. As a result, U Myint Kyaw was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, at 03:45 PM a report stated that a female was killed by gunfire in Paylal Village of Sinbaungwe Township of Magway Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that Ma Khin Yu Maw (21 years old), who lives in this Village, was present in her house with her family, when a group of seven so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived. They opened fire on Ma Khin Yu Maw and robbed the gold jewelry she was wearing before fleeing the scene. As a result, Ma Khin Yu Maw was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Likewise, on October 30 at 09:00 AM, U Htay Aung (70 years old) and U Toe Myint (47 years old), who both lived in Htantabin Village of Ngazun Township in Mandalay Region, were present in their respective houses, when a group of six so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on three motorcycles and opened fire on them. As a result, they both were dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Security personnel are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against administrative officials and innocent civilians in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
