In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations against innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts, using guns and knives, after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 8 November at 04:00 PM, U Myo Myat (51 years old), who lives in Thaephyuchaung Village of Sagaing Region, was present in his house, when two so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Myo Myat sustained a bullet penetrating injury to his left cheek and was transported to the Mandalay Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 05:10 PM, a report stated that a male was dead by gunfire in Kyaukpyinthar Village of Paukkhaung Township, Bago Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that Hlaekuu Village Group Administrator U Win Naing (50 years old), who lived in this Village, was present in his house, when a group of five so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived and opened fire on him. As a result, U Win Naing was dead from a gunshot injury on his head, it is reported.
Similarly, at 08:30 PM, a report stated that a female and a child were injured by gunfire near Kyuchaung Village in Nyaunlebin Township. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that U San Oo (56 years old), who lives in Pazunmyaung Village of Nyaunglebin Township, along with his daughter-in-law Ma Thida Oo (42 years old) and his granddaughter Ma Khine Yadanar Lwin (four years old), were travelling on a motorcycle from Nyaunglebin Town to Pazunmyaung Village along the Nyaunglebin-Madauk road. When they reached a road near the entrance of Kyuchaung Village, a terrorist group (under scrutiny) opened fire on them. As a result, Ma Thida Oo sustained a bullet penetrating injury to her left thigh while Ma Khine Yadanar Lwin sustained a bullet penetrating injury to her left shoulder blade. They were transported to the Nyaunglebin Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security personnel are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against innocent civilians in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
