In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns against administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 28 August at 01:05 PM, U Khin Maung Myint, 61 years old, who lived in Kyauktaung Village of Momeik Township, Northern Shan State, was present in his house with his family, when two so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on a motorcycle and one of the terrorists threatened the family at gun point and forcing them to sit. During this ordeal, another terrorist shot and stabbed U Khin Maung Myint. Subsequently, the terrorists fled towards Moelo Village. As a result, U Khin Maung Myint was dead from stabbing, slashing, laceration and gunshot injuries to his head, chest, back and hands during the incident, it is reported.
Similarly, at 02:00 PM, two electric meter clerks from the Mahlaing Township Electric Office in Mandalay Region; Mg Kaung Htet Hein, 20 years old, and Mg Htet Lin Aung, 19 years old, were at their counter collecting electric bills, when a so-called PDF terrorist (under scrutiny) arrived on a motorcycle and he said “Why did you cut off electricity to Htanaungkine Village?”. Subsequently, the terrorist opened fire three times before fleeing down an alley in front of the Electric Office. As a result, Mg Kaung Htet Hein sustained a bullet penetrating injury on his left arm and was transported to the Mahlaing Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 04:05 PM, Village Administrator U Aung Ngwe Tun, 45 years old, who lives in Tabyuchaung Village of Paung Township, Mon State, was travelling alone on his motorcycle from Tabyuchaung Village to Yinnyein Village. When he arrived near a football field of Yinnyein (north) Village, two so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny), who were riding on a motorcycle on the same direction behind him, opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Aung Ngwe Tun sustained two gunshot injuries on his abdomen and was transported to the Yinnyein Circuit Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security personnel are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against administrative officials and innocent civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.

Tabyuchaung Village Administrator U Aung Ngwe Tun, was injured by so-called PDF terrorists’ gunfire in Paung Townsip.
