In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns, grenades, home-made mines and IEDs against administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 10 August at 12:55 PM, a three-wheeled motorcycle, driven by U Kyaw Thu Aung, 36 years old (Father) U Pyone Sein, who lived in Thargatoekwate Village of Paungde Township, Bago Region, along with U Kyaw Ye Naing, 28 years old (Father) U Than Naing, who lived in Thaemae Village, were travelling from Wetpoat Village to Natpade Village along the Yangon-Pyay Road. When they were purchasing betel nut from a betel nut shop owned by U Mya Than in Natpade Village located between mile posts 145/4 and 145/5, two so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire on them before fleeing. As a result, U Kyaw Thu Aung and U Kyaw Ye Naing were dead from gunshot injuries at the incident, it is reported.
Similarly, at 02:30 PM, U Gwan Moe, 24 years old (Father) U Gwan Sein, who lived in Sanhlan Village of Lounglon Township, Tanintharyi Region, was riding alone on his motorcycle from a ceremonial cremation of a monk’s relics held at the Myolal monastery located in Khakway Ward of Lounglon Township to Sanhlan Village along the Lounglon-Sanhlan Road. When he arrived at the exit of Lounglon Town, approximately ten so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny), who were waiting at the roadside for him, blocked his path with motorcycles and opened fire on him. As a result, U Gwan Moe was dead from gunshot injuries to his head at the incident, it is reported.
Likewise, at 03:00 PM, Ko La Min Tun, 27 years old (Father) U Tin Soe, who lived in Ingin Street of Htantaw Ward in Monywa Township, Sagaing Region, was present at the home-based “Shwelamin” rice and curry shop in his house along with his mother Daw Tin Tin Myat, 53 years old (Father) U Ba Myint, and his younger sister-in-law Ma Aye Nyein Thu, 25 years old (Father) U Tin Tun, when six so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on three motorcycles and forced them to sit in the house at gunpoint. Later, they robbed an Iphone 13 pro from Ma Aye Nyein Thu’s possession and proceeded to open fire on Ma Aye Nyein Thu and Daw Tin Tin Myat. Moreover, the terrorists also robbed a Honda Click 125 motorcycle which parked in the shop before fleeing towards Lalzin Village. As a result, Ma Aye Nyein Thu was dead from a bullet penetrating injury on her left temple, while Daw Tin Tin Myat sustained two gunshot injuries on her head and right hand, it is reported.
Furthermore, at 06:40 PM, U Thet Phone Myint, 47 years old (Father) U Mya Saung, who lived in No.(2) Ward of Ngazun Township, Mandalay Region, along with Mg Pyay Ti Oo, who also lives in the same Ward, were going to take back their cows from a herding grazing land located on No.(2) island, when three so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived and opened on them. As a result, U Thet Phone Myint was dead from seven gunshot injuries on his head and hands at the incident, while Mg Pyay Ti Oo managed to escape, it is reported.
Similarly, at 10:30 PM, in charge of sub village U Nyo, 56 years old (Father) U Tun Kyine, who lived in Sipin Village of Sinpaungwe Township, Magway Region, was present in his house, when five so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived and opened fire on him. As a result, U Nyo was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Security Force Members are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against administrative officials and innocent civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
Two males, who were purchasing betel nut, were killed by so-called PDF terrorists’ gunfire in Natpade Village of Paungde Township.
A male, who were returning from a ceremonial cremation of a monk’s relics, was killed by so-called PDF terrorists in Lounglon Township.
A female was dead and another female was injured by so-called PDF terrorists’ gunfire by entering the house and robbing a phone and motorcycle in Monywa Township.
A male, who was going to take back cows at the grazing land, was killed by so-called PDF terrorists’ gunfire in Ngazun Township.
