In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations against civil service personnel and innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts, using guns and knives, after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 5 December at 09:40 AM, U Myat Kyaw (68 years old), who lived in Kankaw alley (3) in No. (3) Ward of Kyarinseikkyi Township, Kayin State, was present in his house with his family when two terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire on them before fleeing. As a result, U Myat Kyaw was dead from three bullet penetrating injuries to his chin, chest and right arm during the incident. Additionally, U Myat Kyaw’s wife Daw Aye Myint (52 years old) sustained a gunshot injury on her right thigh. She is currently receiving medical care at the Phayarthonesu Circuit Hospital, it is reported.
Similarly, at 11:00 AM, a report stated that a male was found dead with stabbing and slashing injuries on the Madaya Town to Auaktaungkine Village road in Madaya Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that U Zaw Htoo (aka) Shwe Htoo (40 years old), who lived in Thilakone Village of Madaya Township was dead from a laceration to his neck and four stab injuries to his back. The incident was verified that, at 01:00 AM on the same day when U Zaw Htoo (aka) Shwe Htoo and fellow villagers; Ko Kyaw Swar Tun (26 years old), Ko Wai Yan Tun (22 years old) and Ma Ngelay (29 years old) were present in a guard hut within a watermelon plantation owned by U Kyaw Naing, located approximately two furlongs west of Auaktaungkine Village. At that time, four so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny), arrived on two motorcycles and arrested U Zaw Htoo (aka) Shwe Htoo, Ko Kyaw Swar Tun and Ko Wai Yan Tun. Subsequently, when the terrorists arrived at the incident, they stabbed and slashed U Zaw Htoo (aka) Shwe Htoo with knives. They then proceeded to detain Ko Kyaw Swar Tun and Ko Wai Yan Tun. As a result, security personnel are actively engaged in ongoing efforts to rescue detainees, it is reported.
Likewise, at 12:00 PM, a report stated that U Than Zaw (47 years old), who lived in Zalatkone Village of Myingyan Township, was present in his house with his family, when three so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on a motorcycle and forcibly detained U Than Zaw along with his wife, Daw Nyo Nyo San (50 years old). Subsequently, the terrorists took them onto the road in front of their house, where they opened fire on them. Additionally, the terrorists robbed two motorcycles owned by U Than Zaw. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that both U Than Zaw and Daw Nyo Nyo San were dead from bullet penetrating injuries to their left temples and necks on the road in front of their house. The deceased bodies were transported to the Myingyan District Public Hospital for further examination, it is reported.
Similarly, at 01:30 PM, a report stated that an incident in Ngetgyitheik Village, Phyu Township, Bago Region, where an individual male to two so-called PDF terrorists who shot him before fleeing the scene. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that U Aung Win (59 years old), a staff officer (2) from the Myochaung Dam Construction Project near the Village, who lived in Aungmingalar Ward of Hlegu Township, was dead from four gunshot injuries on his chin, neck and abdomen in front of the house of U Win Myint who lives in Ngetgyitheik Village. The incident was verified that while U Aung Win was seated in front of U Win Myint’s house, overseeing the dam project’s operations. Two so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Aung Win was dead from aforementioned injuries, it is reported.
Security personnel are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against civil service personnel and innocent civilians in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
