In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations against civil service personnel and innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts, using guns and knives, after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 13 December at 06:45 AM, a report stated that a deceased male with gunshot injuries had been brought to the Sagaing District Public Hospital in Sagaing Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that U Thant Zin Htoo (37 years old), a ticket checker for Myanma Railway who lived in Kyawzayyar (1) Ward of Kawlin Township, was dead from a bullet penetrating injury to his head. The incident was verified that on the night of 12 December, U Thant Zin Htoo had left his temporary residence in Tagaung Ward of Sagaing Town but did not return. Concerned, his family members searched for him. Subsequently, at 06:30 AM on 13 December, his family found that U Thant Zin Htoo had been killed, by terrorists (under scrutiny), near the Layhtet Monastery in Thawtarpan Ward of Sagaing Town, it is reported.
Similarly, at 09:20 AM, a report stated that a male and female were killed by so-called PDF terrorists on the Kula Village fork road from Ngazun-Ngamyar road in Ngazun Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that U Aung Myat Cho (38 years old), was dead from a bullet penetrating injury and a stab injury to his abdomen, while his wife Daw Kay Thawl Moe (44 years old) had sustained three stab injuries to her left chest, four to her right chest, and five to her back. Both individuals were residents of Tagyankone Village of Ngazun Township. The incident was verified that on 12 December at 06:00 PM, when they were returning home on a motorcycle from a field near Nyaunglaypin Village. As they approached Makyikyat Village, three so-called PDF terrorists intercepted their motorcycle, detained them and subsequently, at the scene of the incident, opened fire, and assaulted them with knives. Additionally, the terrorists robbed them of their motorcycle and 10 MMK lakhs, which was in the motorcycle’s toolbox. Security personnel then transported the deceased and the injured individual to Ngazun Township Public Hospital, it is reported.
Similarly, at 04:05 PM, a report stated that U Ba Hteik (53 years old), who lives in Nanmyint Village of Taungtha Township, along with his wife, Daw San Aye (45 years old), and their son, Mg Min Min Tun (17 years old), were present in their home-based shop. At that time, four so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on two motorcycles and opened fire on Daw San Aye and Mg Min Min Tun, accusing them of selling goods to the Pyu group. Additionally, the terrorists robbed their Dayan-125 motorcycle. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that Daw San Aye was dead from three bullet penetrating injuries to her left temple and left/right hands, while Mg Min Min Tun was dead from two penetrating injuries to his occiput and left forearm. Security personnel then transported the deceased individual’s bodies to Taungtha Township Public Hospital, it is reported.
Similarly, at 04:45 PM, U Han Tun Lin (40 years old), who lived in Phayarhla Village of Taungtha Township, was working his upland field located between Phayarhla Village and Phattaw Village, when three so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on three motorcycles and opened fire on him. As a result, U Han Tun Lin was dead from a bullet penetrating injury to his left eye and a gunshot injury to his left ear during the incident, it is reported.
Security personnel are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against a civil service personnel and five innocent civilians in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
