In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations against administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts, using guns and knives, after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 22 November at 08:00 AM, a report stated that a male was dead by gunfire in Magyikan Village of Natogyi Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that Ko Phoe Zaw (37 years old), who lived in Tetsi Village of Natogyi Township, was traveling from home to Magyikan Village in a 1E/XXXX Toyota Hiace vehicle along Natogyi-Mahlaing road. When he arrvied near Magyikan Village, two male terrorists (under scrutiny) who were riding a motorcycle, opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, Ko Phoe Zaw was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, at 12:15 PM, a report stated that a male was dead by gunfire near Thayetchaungywarma Village of Letpadan Township, Bago Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that Wayonepinzin Village Administrator U Win Myint (59 years old), who lived in this Village, was travelling alone on his motorcycle from his home to Taungtharyar Village. When he arrived on a dirt road connecting Tayetchaungywarma Village and the mountain range circuit road, a so-called PDF terrorists (total number-under scrutiny) opened fire on him. As a result, U Win Myint was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Likewise, at 07:30 PM, a report stated that six males and a female were dead by gunfire in Thankone Village of Ngazun Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that Ko Phoe Chit (18 years old), Ko Nan Win (37 years old), Ko Wai Aung (23 years old), Ko Bying Gyi (29 years old), Ko Paing (30 years old), who all lived in this Village, were having dinner at the grocery shop of U Nyunt Hla within the Village. When a group of eight terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on motorcycles and opened fire on them. This resulted in the deaths of five individuals, including Ko Phoe Chit were dead from gunshot injuries. Additionally, the terrorists proceeded to the house of U Chit Han (72 years old) and the house of Daw Win (72 years old), within the Village. Later, the terrorists opened fire on U Chit Han and Daw Win. As a result, U Chit Han and Daw Win were also dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, at 07:40 PM, Ma Tin Mar Htay (45 years old), who lived in Ngayantchaung Village located along the Aunglan-Magway District Connected road, was present in her house, a group of approximately five so-called PDF terrorists arrived on three motorcycles and opened fire on her. As a result, Ma Tin Mar Htay was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Security personnel are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against administrative officials and innocent civilians in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
