In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations against administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts, using guns and knives, after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 19 November at 02:50 PM, a report stated that a shooting incident at the “Ko Nyi Thu” restaurant located in Sanchi Ward of Dawei Town, Tanintharyi Region. Security personnel conducted an investigation. During the investigation, it was found that Ko Kyaw Zin Oo (23 years old), who lived in this Ward, was found dead within the restaurant, with two bullet penetrating injuries to his head and chest. The incident was verified that, Ko Kyaw Zin Oo was inside the restaurant, when a so-called PDF terrorist (under scrutiny) arrived a motorcycle and opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, Ko Kyaw Zin Oo was dead from aforementioned injuries. The deceased’s body was transported to the Dawei District Public Hospital for further examination, it is reported.
Similarly, at 06:30 PM, U San Tun (69 years old), a member of the Yamethin District Administration Body, who lives in Shwepyiyannaing Ward of Pyawbwe Town, Mandalay Region, was present in his house, when two so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on a motorcycle and summoned him. As, U San Tun opened the yard door in response, one of the terrorist opened fire him before fleeing. As a result, U San Tun sustained two bullet penetrating injuries to his right shoulder and forearm. Currently, he is receiving medical care at a military hospital, it is reported.
Security personnel are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against administrative officials and innocent civilians in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
