In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations against civil servants, administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts, using guns and knives, after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 17 November at 08:30 AM, a report stated that a male was dead by gunfire in Kyantkanlay Village of Chauk Township, Magway Region. Security personnel conducted an investigation. During the investigation, it was found that on 16 November at 11:30 PM, U Thein Win (53 years old), who lived in this Village, was present in his house, when a group of 10 so-called PDF terrorists arrived on four motorcycle and opened fire on him. As a result, U Thein Win was dead from two bullet penetrating injuries to his right temple, it is reported.
Similarly, on 17 November at 09:00 AM, a report stated that a male and female were dead by gunfire near Sinku Village of Thayetchaung Township, Tanintharyi Region. Security personnel conducted an investigation. During the investigation, it was found that on 16 November at 08:30 PM, U Thein Tun (62 years old) and his wife Daw Phyu Phyu Than (57 years old), who both lived in this Village, were present in an orchard guard hut, when approximately a group of 20 so-called PDF terrorists arrived and opened fire on them. Additionally, the terrorists set fire to the hut. As a result, U Thein Tun and Daw Phyu Phyu Than were dead from gunshot and burn injuries, it is reported.
Likewise, on 18 November at 05:30 AM, an in charge of Sub Village U Soe Myint (55 years old), who lived in Gonhnyinnwe Village of Salin Township, Magway Region, was at home with his wife, when a group of five so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived and opened fire on him. As a result, U Soe Myint was dead from bullet penetrating injuries to his left rib and left arm, it is reported.
Similarly, on 18 November at 07:20 AM, a report stated that two females were dead by gunfire in Kula Village of Ngazun Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel conducted a verification. During the verification, it was found that on 17 November at 08:30 PM, Daw Toe Toe Than (38 years old), a health assistant residing in Rural Health Department compound in this Village, and Daw Aye Mon Kyaw (25 years old), who resided in Jo Village and was companion of Daw Toe Toe Than, were present in a building within the compound. At that time, a group of seven terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived and arrested them. Later, when they arrived on the irrigation boundary road between Kula Village and Yepadine quayside, located approximately three furlongs east of Kula Village, the terrorists opened fire on them. As a result, they were dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Security personnel are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against civil servants, administrative officials and innocent civilians in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
