In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations against civil service personnel, administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts, using guns and knives, after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 18 November at 03:30 PM, a report stated that a male was dead by gunfire in Kyee Village of Pakokku Township, Magway Region. Security personnel conducted an investigation. During the investigation, it was found that U Phoe Lone (61 years old), who lived in this Village, was present in his house with his family, when a group of four so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived and opened fire on him. As a result, U Phoe Lone was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, at 09:30 PM, Ahmalkhung Village Group Administrator U Mo Thi Kyan (53 years old), who lived in Goparlagan Village of Phyu Township, Bago Region, was present in his house with his family, when KNU members who support terrorism and a so-called PDF terrorists (total number-under scrutiny) arrived and opened fire on him. As a result, U Mo Thi Kyan was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Security personnel are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against civil service personnel, administrative officials and innocent civilians in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
