In some Townships terrorists wantonly kill civil service personnel, administrative officials and innocent civilians

     In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns, grenades, home-made mines and IEDs against civil service personnel, administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 13 August at 09:40 AM, according to the report that a male was injured by gunfire near Taguntai Village of Kyaukpadaung Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Thein Myint, 64 years old (Father) U Chit Nyunt, who lives in this Village, along with his wife Daw Hla Nyunt, were returning to their Village on a bullock cart from a field located approximately two miles west of the Village, when a male terrorist (under scrutiny), who was riding a motorcycle from the same direction behind them, opened fire on them before fleeing. As a result, U Thein Myint sustained gunshot injuries and was transported to the Meiktila District Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 09:45 AM, according to the report that a terrorist group (under scrutiny) killed two males and three females in No. (2) Ward of Kambalu Township, Sagaing Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Myint Swe, 64 years old, U Soe Myint Lwin, 32 years old, Daw Mar Mar Lin, 38 years old, Daw Kyi Htay, 55 years old and a midwife Daw Soe Thiri Hlaing, 31 years old, who all lived in this Village, were present in their house together, when a terrorist group (under scrutiny) arrived and killed them using knives. As a result, five people including U Myint Swe were dead with injuries, it is reported.
     Likewise, at 06:00 PM, U Maung Oo, 54 years old, who lived in Khayinn Village of Taungoo Township, Bago Region, was present in the house of his aunt Daw Khin Mar Win, who also lives in the same village, when four males terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on two motorcycles and opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Maung Oo was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
     Furthermore, at 09:10 PM, 100-household Administrator U San Nyunt, 53 years old, his wife Daw Theingi, 50 years old and his son Mg Tun Ye Aung, 12 years old, who all live in No. (4) Ward of Intaw Town in Yatsauk Township, Southern Shan State, were present in their house together, when two male terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire on them before fleeing. As a result, U San Nyunt was dead from gunfire injuries, while Daw Theingi sustained gunshot injuries. She was transported to the Intaw Circuit Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     On the same day at 10:30 PM, according to the report that a male was found dead with injuries on the roadside of the Yatsauk-Naungcho Road in Taunghtake Village of Yatsauk Township, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that Ko Htay Hlaing Soe, 25 years old, who lived in this Village, was found dead with gunshot injuries, and his body was transported to the Kyaukgu Circuit Hospital for further examination, it is reported.
     Security Force Members are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against civil service personnel, administrative officials and innocent civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
