In some Townships, terrorists wantonly kill civil service personnel and innocent civilians who live peacefully

     In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations against civil service personnel and innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts, using guns and knives, after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 2 December at 01:30 AM, a report stated that a male had been found dead, stabbed and slashed with a knife in Khyoekone Village of Paunde Township, Bago Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that U Tin Maung Win (53 years old), who lived in this Village, was in his house when a group of five so-called PDF terrorists, arrived and arrested him. Subsequently, when the terrorists arrived a dirt road located approximately three furlongs west of Khyoekone Village, they stabbed and slashed U Tin Maung Win’s head with a knife. As a result, U Tin Maung Win was dead from beheaded injuries, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 07:05 AM, U Zaw Htay (59 years old), who lived in Ashekone Village of Palaw Township, Tanintharyi Region, was riding his motorcycle alone towards his rubber farm near Marlakarchaung Village of Thayetchaung Township. When he arrived on the Dawei-Myeik road near Marlakarchaung Village, a so-called PDF terrorists (total number-under scrutiny) opened fire on him. As a result, U Zaw Htay was dead from gunshot injuries to right side of his chest, back and left ear, it is reported.
     Likewise, at 11:15 AM, a report stated that a male was dead by gunfire at the “Shwe Sin” tea shop located in Myothit Ward of Chaung-U Township, Sagaing Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that U Maung Maung Lwin (59 years old), a staff officer from the Chaung-U Township Agricultural Mechanization Department; U Win Naing (58 years old), an Assistant Director from Township Department of Agriculture; and U Myo Min Zaw (45 years old), a tractor driver from Agricultural Mechanization Department, were having tea at the shop when a group of six so-called PDF terrorists arrived on three motorcycles and initiated gunfire. Subsequently, the terrorists arrested U Maung Maung Lwin. As a result, U Myo Min Zaw was dead from an open injury to his head, it is reported.
     Security personnel are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against civil service personnel and innocent civilians in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
