In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns, against innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 21 October at 07:00 AM, a report stated that a male was dead by gunfire in Nyaunpinyoe Village of Ngazun Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that U Aung San (62 years old), who lived in this Village, was present in his house, when a group of four terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on four motorcycles and opened fire on him. Additionally, the terrorists robbed two gold rings, a gold necklace and approximately 20 lakhs in cash (with a total value of 52 lakhs) from inside the house before fleeing. As a result, U Aung San was dead from his head open injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, at 02:40 PM, a report stated that two males were dead by gunfire in Lapat Village of Kyaukgyi Township, Bago Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that Ko Sai Sai (aka) Sit Thway Ko (18 years old) and U Win Shwe (65 years old), who lived in this Village, were returning on a motorcycle from Kyaukgyi Town to Lapat Village along the Kyaukgyi-Mone Road. When they arrived near Lapat Village, KNU members who support terrorism and a so-called PDF terrorists (total number-under scrutiny) forced them to stop their motorcycle and opened fire on them. Furthermore, the terrorists robbed their motorcycle and a mobile phone before fleeing. As a result, Ko Sai Sai (aka) Sit Thway Ko and U Win Shwe were dead from bullet penetrating injuries to their heads respectively, it is reported.
Security personnel are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against innocent civilians in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
