In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations against innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts, using guns and knives, after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 29 November at 09:00 PM, U Aye Tun (45 years old), who lived in Ahlalsakhan Village of Lotthaing Village Group in Yebyu Township, Tanintharyi Region, was at home when three so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny), arrived on two motorcycles and opened fire on him. As a result, U Aye Tun was dead from three bullet penetrating injuries to his head and chest during the incident, it is reported.
Similarly, on 30 November at 09:30 AM, U Than Naing (53 years old), who lived in Kyaikkaw Ward in Thuwanawadi Myothit, Thaton Township, Mon State, was having a snack with his wife at a “Mohinga” shop located at the junction of Taikauk Road within the Ward. At that time, two so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire on U Than Naing. As a result, U Than Naing sustained two gunshot injuries to his right shoulder and chest, necessitating immediate transportation to Theinseit Circuit Hospital for medical treatment. Unfortunately, U Than Naing was dead from his injuries during the incident while being medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 01:15 PM, the village lighting committee member U Kyaw Aung (59 years old), who lived in Ywarshae Village of Myingyan Township, Mandalay Region, was returning home along on his motorcycle from his bamboo plantation along a dirt road. When he arrived a location approximately five furlongs east of Ywarshae Village, two so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) riding a motorcycle behind him, opened fire on him. As a result, U Kyaw Aung was dead from three gunshot injuries to his occiput, under left ear and left side of his back during the incident, it is reported.
Similarly, at 11:30 PM, a report stated that two males were dead by gunfire in Panmatee Ward of Myintkyina Township, Kachin State. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that U Aung Naing Win (56 years old), who lived in this Ward, was dead from a bullet penetrating through injury his abdomen to his back, as well as an open injury on the back of his hand. Additionally, Ko Kyaw Han Soe (25 years old), who also lived in this Ward, was also dead from an open injury to his occiput. The incident was verified that on the same day at 10:30 PM, while they were inside their house, two terrorists (under scrutiny) forcibly entered by foot through their house fence door. Subsequently, during the inspection, the terrorists opened fire on them before fleeing resulting in their deaths due to the aforementioned injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, on 1 December at 08:15 AM, U Than Tun (54 years old), who lived in left side of the ground floor, Building No (629), Street 3, Area (3), Ngamoeyeik Ward of Thingangyun Township, Yangon Region, was seated in a “Magyi” copying shop opened in front of his house. At that time, two so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) entered, claiming they needed a copy and proceeded to open fire on U Than Tun before fleeing. As a result, U Than Tun sustained eight gunshot injuries to his chest, left forearm, right arm, abdomen and back. Unfortunately, U Than Tun was dead from his injuries while being medical treatment at Thingangyun District Public Hospital, it is reported.
Security Force Members are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against innocent civilians in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
