In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns against administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 4 October at 09:30 AM, U Zaw Wun (54 years old), who lived in Khyokoepin Village of Oakpho Township, Bago Region, was returning home alone on his motorcycle from eastern part of village along the Village road, when two so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny), who were following him on another motorcycle, opened fire on him. Additionally, they also robbed U Zaw Wun’s motorcycle before fleeing. As a result, U Zaw Wun was dead from four bullet penetrating injuries to his neck and abdomen at the incident. Unfortunately, U Myint Aung (62 years old), who lives near the incident, sustained two gunshot injuries on his buttocks and he is currently receiving medical care in the Oakpho Township Public Hospital, it is reported.
Similarly, at 10:30 AM, Ko Hein Htet (26 years old), who lived in Myothit Ward of Sagaing Town, Sagaing Region, was walking alone to Pabedan Ward. When he reached near the Thirimingalar Bridge located in Pabedan Ward, a so-called PDF terrorist (under scrutiny), who was riding a motorcycle from behind him, opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, Ko Hein Htet sustained a bullet penetrating injury under his left jaw and was transported to the Sagaing District Public Hospital for medical treatment. Unfortunately, he was dead from his injury during the incident, while being receiving medical care, it is reported.
Likewise, at 09:00 PM, U Nyi Nyi Htay (48 years old), who lived in Thantzinkone Village of Patheingyi Township, Mandalay Region, was returning home alone on his motorcycle from the “Shan Nout Nout” restaurant. When he reached near the “Shew Lat Kaung” restaurant, three terrorists (under scrutiny), who were waiting for him on the roadside, forced to stop his motorcycle and stabbed him with knives before fleeing. As a result, U Nyi Nyi Htay was dead from a stabbing injury on his abdomen and two laceration injuries on his chest at the incident, it is reported.
Security personnel are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against innocent civilians in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
