In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns, grenades, home-made mines and IEDs against non-CDM staff after forcibly pressuring civil service personnel who are loyal to the State to join CDM as well as others who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 20 June at 11:45 AM, according to the report that a man was injured by gunfire at the “GG” phone repair shop located at the Alongphayar Street in Zaytan (1) Ward of Tamu Township, Sagaing Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Ye Htet Zaw, 38 years old (Father) U Myint Zaw, who lives in this Ward, was present in the phone repair shop, when two male terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on a motorcycle, opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Ye Htet Zaw sustained gunshot injures, and was transported to the Tamu District Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 12:55 PM, U Ye Win Naing, 59 years old (Father) U Kyin Thein, who lived in Kyaukmichaung (south) Village of Ye Township, Mon State, was present in his house, when two so-called PDF terrorists arrived on a motorcycle, opened fire on him. As a result, U Ye Win Naing was dead from gunshot injures, it is reported.
Likewise, on 21 June at 07:30 AM, U Zaw Htet, 41 years old (Father) U Win Maung, who lives in Pauktaw Village of Pakokku Township, Magway Region, was present in his house, along with his wife Daw San San Aye, 40 years old (Father) U Than Shwe, his younger sisters-in-law; Daw San Aye Nge, 37 years old, Ma Khin Mar Lin, 27 years old, Ma Aye Myat Thida, 27 years old and his niece Ma Zar Moe Aung, 17 years old (Father) U Maung Htay. When approximately six so-called PDF terrorists arrived and opened fire and stabbing them with knives. As a result, among those present in the house, five women including Daw San San Aye were dead from gunshot and knife injures, it is reported.
Furthermore, at 09:00 AM, according to the report that a man was dead with injuries beside the Zayetgyi Village dirt road, branching off from the Taungtha-Natogyi Road in Taungtha Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that the lifeless body of an individual, estimated to be around 40 years old (under scrutiny), was discovered with gunshot injuries at the location and his body was transported to the Taungtha Township Public hospital for further examination, it is reported.
Security Force Members are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned case based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
