In some townships of States and Regions, Armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns, grenades, home-made mines and IEDs against non-CDM staff after forcibly pressuring civil service personnel who are loyal to the State to join CDM as well as others who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 18 April at 11:15 AM, according to the report that three men were killed by gunfire in the Htanpingon Village of Thanlyin Township, Yangon Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Aung Nyi Tun, 46 years old, (Father) U Tun Wai, U Aung Myo Swe, 54 years old, (Father) U Pan Sein, who both lived in this Ward and U Khin Maung Thein, 59 years old, (Father) U Maung Gyi, who lived in Myothit Ward, were having a conversation in front the house of Daw Khin Htay Myint, 75 years old, (Father) U Maung Gyi, who lives in the same Ward, when two male terrorists (under scrutiny), who were riding on a motorcycle, opened fire on them before fleeing. As a result, U Aung Nyi Tun, U Aung Myo Swe and U Khing Maung Thein were dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, at 03:20 PM, according to the report that a man was dead by gunfire on the Bwarayesu-Thayetpingyi village connected road, located about two furlongs north of Bwarayesu Village of Htantabin Township, Bago Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that two so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on a motorcycle and arrested U Aung San, 51 years old, (Father) U Than Saung. When they arrived at the scene, the terrorists opened fire on him. As the result, U Aung San was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Likewise, at 07:15 PM, according to the report that a man was dead by gunfire in Yabyaw Village of Launglone Township, Tanintharyi Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Tin Soe, 48 years old, (Father) U Aung Hla Din, who lived in Innzaut Village of Launglone Township, was sitting in a pub in the Yabyaw Village, when a male terrorist (under scrutiny) on a motorcycle opened fire on him before fleeing. As the result, U Tin Soe was dead from gunshot injuries at the scene, it is reported.
Furthermore, 19 April at 07:15 AM, according to the report that two men had been killed by gunshot injuries on the dirt road from Myingyan-Taungtha road to Moehnaungkhin village located in Thaungtha Township, Madalay Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that two men (under scrutiny) were found dead from gunshot injuries, and their bodies were transported to the Thaungtha Township Public hospital for further examination, it is reported.
Security Force Members are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
