In Yaedashe, Shwebo, Natogyi and Hlaingthayar (Eastern) Townships, Armed Terrorists Wantonly Kill Administrative Officials, Government Employees and Civilians who live peacefully

      In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns, grenades, home-made mines and IEDs against non-CDM staff after forcibly pressuring civil service personnel who are loyal to the State to join CDM as well as others who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
      Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 1 May at 1000 AM, according to the report that a man sustained injuries by gunfire in Swarywarma Village of Yaedashe Township, Bago Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Aung Chit Oo (aka) U Kaut, 64 years old, (Father) U Aung Khin, along with Naing Htet, 37 years old, (Father) U Kaunt, and Khine Aye, 36 years old, (Father) U Pay Lone, who all live in this Village, were present at the ferry port of the village, when six male terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on three motorcycles and opened fire on them before fleeing. As a result, U Aung Chit Oo (aka) U Kaut sustained gunshot injuries and was transported to the Swar Circuit hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
      Similarly, at 1215 PM, according to the report that a man was dead by gunfire in 13 miles Village of Shwebo Township, Sagaing Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that Village Administrator U Myint Aung, 62 years old, (Father) U Kyaw Khin, who lived in this village, was in his house, when three so-called PDF terrorists arrived on two motorcycles and opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Myint Aung was dead from gunshot injuries at the scene, it is reported.
      Likewise, at 0310 PM, according to the report that a man was dead by gunfire on the Mandalay-Myingyan Highway located in Tharyargon Village of Natogyi Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Khin Maung San, 51 years old, (Father) U Paw, who lived in Minywar Village of Natogyi Township, was transporting U Phoe Par, 60 years old, (Father) U Toe, who also lives in the same Village, in an Light Truck vehicle to Natogyi Town for medical treatment. When they arrived at the scene, approximately 10 so-called PDF terrorists forced them to stop the vehicle and pulled U Khin Maung San out of the vehicle. Later, terrorists opened fire on U Khin Maung San and robbed the vehicle before fleeing. As a result, U Khin Maung San was dead from gunshot injuries at the scene, it is reported.
      Furthermore, at 0815 PM, according to the report that a man was dead by gunfire at the corner of Bogyoke Street and Natshinnaung Street located in No. (3) Ward of Hlaingtharyar (Eastern) Township, Yangon Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that 100-household Administrator U Thet Paing, 52 years old, (Father) U Tin Myint, and 100-household Administrator U Aung Gyi (aka) Aung Min Tun, who both live in this Ward, were clearing traffic for the Ward Pattahna Recitation ceremony held in Bogyoke Street, when two male terrorists (under scrutiny), arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire on them before fleeing. As a result, U Thet Paing was dead from gunshot injuries at the scene, it is reported.
      Security Force Members are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
