Terrorists committing inhumane acts have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the residential areas, including towns, wards and villages.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 13 May 2025 at 1:45 PM, a report stated that a woman with shrapnel injuries was admitted to the Township Public Hospital in Meiktila Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel conducted further investigation, they discovered that the victim was identified as Daw Hla Hla Win (aka) Daw Si Htway (52 years old), a resident of Nyaung Pin Ward in Bhamo Township of Kachin State. The incident occurred when a terrorist faction fired heavy weapons into the victim’s ward, causing her injuries, it is reported.
Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, many innocent people, including monks and children, have been injured and killed. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
