Innocent Civilian Injured in Heavy Weapon Attack by Terrorist Group in Bokepyin Township of Tanintharyi Region

     Terrorists committing inhumane acts have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the residential areas, including towns, wards and villages.
     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 23 May 2025 at 10:00 AM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Pyi Gyi Man Taing Station Hospital in Bokepyin Township of Tanintharyi Region. When security personnel arrived at the Hospital for further investigation, they identified the victim as U Bo Zaw Hein (32 years old), a resident of Chaung Mon Village in Bokepyin Township. The incident occurred when a terrorist group fired heavy weapons into the victim’s village, causing his injuries, it is reported.
      Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent people have been injured. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
