Innocent Civilian Injured in Heavy Weapon Attack on Ward by terrorists

     Insurgents committing terrorist activities have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the public towns, wards and villages.
     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 4 October, 2024 at 6:10 AM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries had arrived at Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the Hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was Ko Bone Thant Kyaw (23 years old), a resident of Bandula Ward in Myinmu Township of Sagaing Region. The incident occurred on 3 October at 7:30 PM, when a so-called PDF terrorist group fire heavy weapons at the victim’s ward. One of the heavy weapon shells exploded within the ward, causing his injuries, it is reported.
     Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are killed and injured. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
