Innocent Civilian Injured in Improvised Mortar Attack on Village by terrorists

    Insurgents committing terrorist activities have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the public towns, wards and villages.
    Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 20 September, 2024 at 12:30 PM, the so-called PDF terrorists fired improvised mortars at Tha Pyay Pin Village in Sagaing Region. One of the improvised mortar shells exploded within the yard of Daw Khin Aye (75 years old), a resident of the village, causing her injuries. She is currently receiving medical treatment at home, it is reported.
    Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are killed and injured. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
