Terrorists committing inhumane acts have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the residential areas, including towns, wards and villages.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 16 May 2025 at 2:05 PM, a report stated that three men with shrapnel injuries were admitted to the Township Public Hospital in Dawei Township of Tanintharyi Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, they identified the victims as U Naing Soe (53 years old) a resident of In-Wun Village in Launglon Township; U Thein Lwin (53 years old) a resident of Thauk Kyar Pyin Village; and U Thet Naing Htway, (33 years old) a resident of Thar Yar Kone Village. The incident occurred when a so-called PDF terrorist faction fired heavy weapons into In-Wun Village, causing their injuries. Unfortunately, U Thet Naing Htway succumbed to his injuries, it is reported.
Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards, and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, many innocent people, including monks and children, have been injured and killed. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
