Innocent Civilian Shot Dead by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Nattalin Township of Bago Region

    In some townships across States and Regions, terrorists motivated by a radical ideology that views “anyone with differing views is an enemy” are conducting violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets are innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts. Using firearms and knives, these terrorists are committing brutal assassinations after accusing them of “spies, informants or decoys”. This strategy is intended to instill fear among peaceable civilians and create a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
    Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 26 May 2025 at 9:00 PM, a report stated that a woman was shot dead in Shar See Pho (Ah Htet Su) Village, Nattalin Township of Bago Region. When security personnel arrived at the scene for further investigation, they discovered that the victim was identified as Daw Aye Aye San (33 years old), a resident of the village. The incident occurred while she was at her house, when six so-called PDF terrorists abducted her, accusing her of being a “decoy”. The terrorists then took her to the outskirts of the village and shot her. As a result, Daw Aye Aye San died on the spot, it is reported.
    Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the aforementioned case, it is reported.
