Innocent Civilians Injured in Heavy Weapon Attack on Village by terrorists

     Insurgents committing terrorist activities have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the public towns, wards and villages.
     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 26 October, 2024 at 10:00 AM, a report stated that a man and a woman with shrapnel injuries had arrived at Bago Township Public Hospital in Bago Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victims were Daw Than Than Nwe (59 years old) and Mg Ye Min Thu (15 years old), both residents of Zee Taw Village in Bago Township. When a terrorist group fired heavy weapons on the victims’ village. Two of the heavy weapon shells exploded within the village, resulting in their injuries, it is reported.
     Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are killed and injured. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
