Innocent Civilians Injured in Improvised Rocket Attack on Ward by Terrorist Insurgents

       Terrorist insurgents have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the public towns, wards and villages.
      Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 30 July, 2024 at 3:45 PM, a group of KIA insurgents and so-called PDF terrorists fired improvised rockets on Pauk Kone Ward in Bhamo Township of Kachin State. Two of these improvised rocket shells exploded within the ward, injuring Daw Tin Tin Lat (40 years old), Daw Khin Mar Kyi (64 years old) and Daw Khin Mar Win (53 years old), all residents of the ward. They were transported to Bhamo District Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported. 
      Due to the heinous acts of armed insurgents and terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are injured. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
