Innocent Civilians Killed and Injured in Heavy Weapon and Drone Bomb Attacks on Villages by Terrorists

    Insurgents committing terrorist activities have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the public towns, wards and villages.
    Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 28 January 2025 at 2:15 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to the Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was U Tun Win (55 years old), a resident of Htone Bo Village in Madaya Township. The incident occurred that when a so-called PDF terrorist faction fired heavy weapons into the victim’s village. One of the heavy weapon shells exploded within the village, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.
    Similarly, at 4:40 PM, a report stated that a man and a child with shrapnel injuries were admitted to the Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that when a so-called PDF terrorist faction had fired heavy weapons into Ywar Tan Shae Village in Taungtha Township. One of the heavy weapon shells exploded within the village. As a result, Ma Sandar Win (28 years old), a resident of the village, died on the spot. Additionally, U Nan Win Kyaw (35 years old) and Ma Thal Ei Win (three years old), both residents of the village, sustained shrapnel injuries, it is reported.
    Similarly, at 9:30 PM, a report stated that two women and a child with shrapnel injuries were admitted to the Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victims were Daw Htway Khin (57 years old), Daw Theingi (54 years old) and Mg Ye Yint Kyaw (nine years old), all residents of Myay Nat Village in Ayardaw Township of Sagaing Region. The incident occurred that when a so-called PDF terrorist faction had fired heavy weapons into the victims’ village. One of the heavy weapon shells exploded within the village, resulting in their injuries, it is reported.
    Similarly, at 9:30 PM, a report stated that a woman with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Salin Township Public Hospital in Magway Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was Daw Pway (75 years old), a resident of Moe Wun (West) Village in Salin Township of Magway Region. The incident occurred that when a so-called PDF terrorist faction conducted an attack by dropping bombs on the victim’s village. One of the bombs exploded within the village, resulting in her injuries, it is reported.
    Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards, and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are killed and injured. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
