Armed insurgents, who support terrorism alongside so-called PDF terrorists, have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the public towns, wards and villages.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 10 July, 2024 at 4:45 PM, insurgent terrorists fired improvised rockets into Yepu Ward in Mogok Town, Mandalay Region. The improvised rocket shells exploded within the ward, resulting in the immediate death of Ko Htet Paing Soe (27 years old) and a resident of the ward, it is reported.
Due to the heinous acts of armed insurgents and terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are killed and injured. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
