Innocent civilians of three males, three females and a child were injured as a result of the explosion of a mine planted by so-called PDF terrorists in Khin-U Township, Sagaing Region.
The incident happened that, on 27 June at 12:40 PM, an YGN 1P/XXXX Express vehicle operated by “Tint Taing Aung” express driven by U Aung Than Oo, 43 years old (Father) U Tint Swe, who lives in Botekan Village of Tamu Township in Sagaing Region, accompanied by vehicle helper Ko Nyi Nyi Lwin, 30 years old (Father) U Myint Lwin, who also lives in the same Village, was carrying passengers. The vehicle was travelling from Kale Town to Yangon City along the Kale–Khin-U–Shwebo Road. When they reached near Htanaungkinelay Village in Khin-U Township, a mine planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group exploded. The explosion caused injures to the following passengers: Ko Nyi Nyi Lwin (30 years old), Ko Pyae Chan Aung (22 years old), Ko Tint Khine (23 years old), Ma Han Zar Aung (31 years old), Ma Cherry Moe (24 years old), Ma Thinzar Oo (21 years old) and Ma Thun Nadi Zaw (four years old). They were transported to the Shwebo Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security force members are continue taking necessary measures to take punitive legal actions against the perpetrators, who recklessly blew up a mine on a Road where innocent civilians travel, as soonest in accordance with the law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
