Innocent Civilians Recklessly Shot Dead by So-called PDF Terrorists

In some townships across States and Regions, armed terrorists motivated by a radical ideology that views 'anyone with differing views is an enemy' are conducting violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets are civil services, administrative officials, and innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist activities. Employing firearms and knives, these terrorists are committing brutal assassination after accusing them as 'spies, informants, or decoys'. This strategy is intended to instill fear among peaceable civilians and create a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 9 May, 2024 at 6:05 PM, a report stated that a man was shot dead in Pyay Soe Aung Village, Sinku Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was discovered that U Zaw Min (51 years old), a resident of the village, was at the “Sein Shwe Toe” tea shop when two so-called PDF terrorists arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, he was fatally wounded, it is reported.
Similarly, at 8:20 PM on the same day, a report stated that a man was shot dead in Kone Bo Village, Sinpaungwe Township, Magway Region.
