Innocent civilians were injured in a drone-dropped bomb and heavy weapon attack on the village, carried out by a group of KIA armed insurgents and the so-called PDF terrorists

In States and Regions, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorist groups have been carrying out terrorist acts against non-military targets. These acts include detonating public roads and bridges, dropping bombs, firing heavy arms, using improvised mortars and setting fire to residential houses in areas where innocent civilians reside, such as wards and villages.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 4 April at 4:00 PM, U Kyaw Win (46 years old) and his wife, Daw Khin Nwe who both live in Malular Village, Bhamo Township, Kachin State, were injured while farming in their groundnut field. A heavy weapon shell, fired by a group of KIA armed insurgents and so-called PDF terrorists, exploded near them. As a result, U Kyaw Win sustained injuries from the shrapnel of the heavy weapon shell and is currently receiving medical treatment at Bhamo Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security personnel are conducting an investigation into the incident involving the heavy weapon attack and resulted in the injuries described previously. The aim of this investigation is to take punitive action against the terrorists involved. This action is in accordance with the law and is geared towards upholding stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
