Innocent civilians were injured in a wanton drop bombs attacks using drones carried out by armed insurgents who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists on to Wards and Villages

     In States and Regions, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists have been carrying out terrorist acts against non-military targets. These acts include detonating public roads and bridges, dropping bombs, firing heavy arms, using improvised mortars, and setting fire to residential houses in areas where innocent civilians reside, such as wards and villages.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 6 October at 04:15 PM, a collaborative group including KKO members who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists attacked with a drop bomb using a drone on Bogyoke Road in No. (2) Ward of Kawkareik Town, Kayin State. The drop bomb fell and exploded on the road. As a result of the explosion, two individuals; U Aung Ko Lat (46 years old) and a Grade-4 student Mg Oakar Phyo (10 years old), who both live in this Ward and were passing through on the road at that time, sustained bomb shrapnel injuries to their faces, abdomens, hands and legs. They were transported to the Kawkareik District Public Hospital for medical treatment. Additionally, U Aung Ko Lat was transferred from the Kawkareik District Public Hospital to a Military Hospital (Taungkalay) for medical treatment. Furthermoer, on the same day at 04:35 PM, the terrorists attacked with a drop bomb using a drone on the Bogyoke Road and the bomb land and exploded. Fortunately, there were no injuries to people caused by the explosion, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 05:30 PM, a collaborative group including KNU members who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists attacked with a drop bomb using a drone from Htoewarsite Village in Kyaukgyi Township located on the opposite side of the Sittaung River within Taungkhin Village of Kyauktaga Township, Bago Region. The bomb landed and detonated in the house yard of Daw Aye Aye Khine (48 years old), who lives in Taungkhin Village. As a result of the explosion, Daw Aye Aye Khine sustained bomb shrapnel injuries to her left and right thighs and was transported to the Kyauktaga Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Security personnel are investigating the incident to take punitive action against terrorists who attacked with drop bombs using drones, aiming to injure innocent civilians, as soonest in accordance with the law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
