Innocent civilians were killed by armed insurgent groups supporting terrorism, and so-called PDF terrorists

In some townships across States and Regions, armed terrorists driven by a radicalized ideology that considers 'Anyone with differing views is an enemy' are carrying out violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets include administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not endorse their terrorist activities. Using firearms and knives, they accuse these individuals of being 'spies,' 'informants,' or 'decoys' to instill fear among peace-seeking civilians, causing a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 17 March at 10:45 PM, U Sein Myint (59 years old), who lived in Kanyarzar Village, Taungoo Township, Bago Region, was at his home when a group of the KNU members who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists arrived and opened fire on him. As a result, U Sein Myint died from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Security personnel are persistently undertaking essential measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for killing and assassination of an innocent civilian in the abovementioned case, it is reported.
