Innocent civilians were shot and killed by so-called PDF terrorists

In some townships across States and Regions, armed terrorists driven by a radicalized ideology that considers 'Anyone with differing views is an enemy' are carrying out violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets include civil services, administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not endorse their terrorist activities. Using firearms and knives, they accuse these individuals of being 'spies, informants or decoys' to instill fear among peace-seeking civilians, causing a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 6 May, 2024 at 8:30 PM, a report stated that a man was injured by gunfire in Mya Yi Nanda Ward, Chanmyatharzi Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that U Thet Naing Tun (47 years old), who lives in the ward, was selling goods at the corner of 47 (A) Street and 117 (E) Street when two so-called PDF terrorists arrived and opened fire on him. As a result, he sustained gunshot injuries and was transported to Mandalay Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 9:30 PM, a report stated that a man was shot dead in Taung Twin Village, Myintthar Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection.
