Terrorists committing terrorist activities have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the public towns, wards and villages.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 22 November 2024 at 7:45 PM, a report stated that two women with shrapnel injuries had arrived at Thein Zayat Station Hospital in Kyaikto Township of Mon State. When security personnel promptly arrived at the Hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victims were Ma Min Min Kyi (17 years old) a resident of Thone Khwa Village and Daw Khin San Yi (47 years old), a resident of Wah Dat Kwin Village, both in Kyaikto Township. The incident occurred when a group of KNLA insurgents, in collaboration with so-called PDF terrorists, fired heavy weapons into the victims’ village. The heavy weapon shells exploded within the village, resulting in the victims’ injuries, it is reported.
Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civillians peacefully reside, innocent civillians are injured. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
