Innocent Civillians Recklessly Assassinated by Terrorists

    In some townships across States and Regions, terrorists motivated by a radical ideology that views “anyone with differing views is an enemy” are conducting violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets are innocent civillians who do not support their terrorist acts. Using firearms and knives, these terrorists are committing brutal assassinations after accusing them of “spies, informants or decoys”. This strategy is intended to instill fear among peaceable civillians and create a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
    Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 21 November, 2024 at 6:30 AM, a report stated that a man was shot dead near Ta Mar Chaung Village in Salin Township of Magway Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was U Than Zaw Oo (44 years old), a resident of the village. The investigation revealed that while the victim was at his house, approximately 30 so-called PDF terrorists arrived and abducted him. The terrorists then took him to a water well approximately 150 meters east of the village, where they shot him, resulting in his death on the spot, it is reported.
    Similarly, at 12:30 PM, a report stated that a man was shot dead in Myat Khar Inn Village, Thazi Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was U Thae (aka) U Thein (53 years old), a resident of the village. The investigation revealed that while the victim was at his house, two so-called PDF terrorists arrived and opened fire on him. As a result, the victim died on the spot, it is reported.
    Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the killings and assassinations of innocent civillians in the aforementioned cases, it is reported.
