KNU members who support terrorism and a so-called PDF terrorist group blew up a concrete bridge in Kyaukgyi Township of Bago Region, it is reported.
The incident occurred that, on 3 October at 09:30 AM, according to the report that KNU members who support terrorism and a so-called PDF terrorist group blew up the Khayumyaung Bridge located on the Kyaukgyi-Natthankwin Road at mile post No. 13/1 near Lalwinegyi Village of Kyaukgyi Township of Bago Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that the concrete railing, floor and basement of the 80 feet long and 18 feet wide bridge were damaged by explosion, making it impossible for vehicles to pass through, it is reported.
Responsible officials are now repairing the damaged bridge and security personnel are continue taking necessary measures to take punitive legal actions against the terrorists who blew up the bridge as soonest in accordance with law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
