Terrorist organizations are carrying out acts of sabotage within the country, as well as launching heavy weapons and dropping bombs using drones attacks, targeting and destroying religious buildings and monasteries that are sacred to Buddhist people, while also abducting and brutally killing the Buddhist monks, it is found that heartbreakingly.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 25 July at 03:45 PM, KNU members who support terrorism and a so-called PDF terrorist group dropped a bomb using a drone on the monastery of Yaekyikone Village in Htantapin Township, Bago Region. The bomb hit the roof of a monastery building where the abbot U Katetithaya, 56 years old and 16 years as a monk (Father) U Lun Aung, was residing. As a result of the explosion, the roof and brick walls of the monastery building (approximately MMK 20 lakhs worth) were damaged. Fortunately, there were no injuries to the abbot and other Buddhist monks, it is reported.
As a result of these acts of terrorism, 76 Buddhist monks and one nun in the state have passed away, and the security forces are diligently conducting search operations and implementing area lockdowns to apprehend and bring to justice the terrorists responsible for dropping a bomb using a drone on the monastery, it is reported.
