KNU members who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists blew up four concrete electricity towers along the Phyu-Oakphyat-Mone power line in Phyu Township

     It has been found that terrorist groups have been carrying out destructive activities such as setting fire to and detonating power sub-stations and electricity towers, with the aim of cutting off electricity.
     Since they are conducting such destructive acts, on 1 November at 11:25 PM, KNU members who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists detonated mines at four electricity towers along the Phyu-Okaphyat-Mone power line located between Layaeinsu Village and Latpankhone Village in Phyu Township of Bago Region. As a result of the explosion, three electricity towers were collapsed and the fourth one was tilted, causing a power outage, it is reported.
     Responsible officials are now repairing the damaged electricity towers, and security personnel are continue taking necessary measures to take punitive legal actions against the terrorists who blew up the electricity towers which were installed to distribute electricity for the public, as soonest in accordance with the law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
