Terrorists committing inhumane acts have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the residential areas, including towns, wards and villages.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 12 May 2025 at 11:25 PM, a report stated that a man and a child with shrapnel injuries were admitted to the Pakokku Township Public Hospital of Magway Region. When security personnel conducted further investigation, they discovered that the victims were identified as U Htoo Tin Maung (31 years old) and Ma May Shyun Lae Phyo (eight years old), both residents of Ah Nout Nan Gat Village in Pakokku Township. The incident occurred when a so-called PDF terrorist faction conducted an attack by dropping bombs on the victims’ village, causing their injuries, it is reported.
Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, many innocent people, including monks and children, have been injured and killed. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
