On 6 March at 6:15 AM, members of the KNU, who support terrorism, along with a so-called PDF terrorist group, detonated Bridge No. 6/18 near Pyinthar Village in Bilin Township, Mon State.
The explosion caused the Reinforced Concrete Bridge, which measures 120 feet in length and 24 feet in width, located on the Bilin-Natgyi-Pharpon Road between mileposts 17/7 and 18, to collapsed and be destroyed. Therefore, no vehicles can pass through it, it is reported.
Responsible officials are currently dedicated to swiftly repairing the damaged bridge. Meanwhile, security personnel are investigating the culprits behind the acts of terrorism mentioned above, aiming to take effective legal action. This effort aligns with the law and is geared towards upholding stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
