Okpho, Patheingyi, Seikphyu and Nyaunglebin Townships, armed terrorists wantonly kill administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully

      In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns, grenades, home-made mines and IEDs against non-CDM staff after forcibly pressuring civil service personnel who are loyal to the State to join CDM as well as others who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
      Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 4 June at 09:50 AM, according to the report that a man was dead by gunfire in Chaungzaut Village of Okpho Township, Bago Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Soe Myint, 65 years old, (Father) U Than Hlaing, who lived in this Village, was present in front of a betel nut shop owned by Ma Aye Lay, 35 years old, (Father) U Thar Doe, who lives in the same village, when four so-called PDF terrorists arrived and opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Soe Myint was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
      Similarly, at 12:50 PM, according to the report that a man was found dead with injuries on the Saetar-Minyehla Village Connected Road located east of Saetar Village in Patheingyi Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that approximately a 50-year-old man (under scrutiny) was found dead with knife injuries at the scene, and his body was transported to the Mandalay Public hospital for further examination, it is reported.
      Likewise, at 04:40 PM, according to the report that a man was dead by gunfire near a field beside the Seikphyu-Saw Road located north of Ywartharaye Village in Seikphyu Township, Magway Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that Village Administrator U A-One, 58 years old, (Father) U Kyawt, who lived in this village, was cutting cow feeds in the field at the scene with his nephew Ko Aung Myo Htwe, when two male terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire on them before fleeing. As a result, U A-One was dead from gunfire injuries, it is reported.
      Furthermore, on 5 June at 06:50 AM, according to the report that a man was dead by gunfire Kwindalalay Village of Nyaunglebin Township, Bago Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Aung Myo Naing, 50 years old, (Father) U Pauk Sa (aka) U Maung Yi, who lived in this Village, was present in his house, when two male terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived and opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, he was dead from gunfire injuries, it is reported.
      Security Force Members are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
