Pro-Violence members from the KNU and so-called PDF terrorists entered a Village where innocent civilians reside in Nyaunglebin Township, Bago Region and wantonly burned it down, causing extensive destruction to residential houses.
The incident happened that, on 7 May at 06:00 AM, pro-Violence members from the KNU and a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number – under scrutiny) entered Pazunmyaung Village in Nyaunglebin Township, Bago Region and wantonly burned down residential houses. As a result, a one-story brick foundation wooden house belonging to U Ngwe Zin, 55 years old, (Father) U Mya Kyine, a one-story brick foundation zinc roofing house belonging to U Naing Lin, 45 years old, (Father) U Hla Win, and a two-story brick foundation zinc roofing house belonging to U Than Chaung, 88 years old, (Father) U Myat Maung, were destroyed by the fire, it is reported.
Security forces are taking necessary measures to take effective action against the terrorists who entered a Village where innocent civilians reside and wantonly burned down residential houses, in accordance with the law and security measures to ensure peace and stability in the area, it is reported.
